Among the most eagerly awaited innovations are those concerning crushing and kneading, stages that are increasingly central to the processing cycle in order to improve the aroma, quality, and yield of olive oil. This technological evolution will also be the focus of some of the conferences scheduled during the event, with the participation of the most authoritative researchers in the field of oil processing, who will present the results of their studies.<\/p>\n<p>In short, this is a great opportunity for the more than 4,000 oil millers in Italy to upgrade their facilities, particularly those who did not take advantage of the call for tenders for the modernization of oil mills financed with resources from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), but who will be able to benefit from contributions from regional or national calls for tenders open in 2026. They will be joined by colleagues from Mediterranean countries, who are particularly interested in learning about the innovations of Italian companies, which have always been recognized as the best in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>But there are also many new developments in store for both professional and amateur olive growers visiting the fair. Climate change, new plant diseases and the powerful return of the olive fly are forcing new agronomic solutions, and there is no shortage of proposals at the fair that will go in this direction, combined with new-generation agricultural machinery and tools to reduce costs and processing times in olive groves.<\/p>\n<p>In short, the olive oil section of Enoliexpo promises to be extremely interesting and full of new developments, confirming Bari as a unique and central event for the entire supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>Two months ahead of schedule, exhibition space at the Fiera del Levante is already practically sold out.
